Another year has come and gone and we are already 13 days into 2012.
On the loyalty marketing blog we have spent the past year highlighting loyalty innovations, specific rewards programs, social media enhancements and other loyalty and technology related news. The way consumers, merchants, brands and marketers regard loyalty was ever-changing in 2011. It seemed that there was a constant stream of companies and mobile applications interested in loyalty and rewarding customers. Some of the stories we covered on the loyalty marketing blog included Groupon adding rewards to their group couponing to create more value and Starbucks’ new loyalty and rewards program mobile app.
At Tecmark we spent most of 2011 focusing on our new loyalty product, Simpli, which will be available later this year. Simpli is a web based loyalty and communication tool that we are excited to debut. Along with Simpli we look forward to new products and enhancements to the loyalty space in 2012. It will inevitably be an exciting year as location-based rewards, smartphones, mobile wallets and other emerging technologies continue to advance and change the way that we shop, play and interact with the world around us.
