This July Tecmark has officially been blogging on the Loyalty Marketing blog for one year. As someone who loves a good reason to celebrate, I have been anxiously awaiting the one year blogoversary mark.
Since starting the loyalty marketing blog last July there have been a number of changes in the loyalty marketing industry as a whole. For an industry that a few years ago may have seemed outdated, loyalty has evolved and become not only a buzzword but an integral part of the strategy for many companies and brands. Mobile wallets, mobile apps, location-based marketing and social media have changed the ways companies can communicate to their customers and enhance traditional loyalty programs to create value. Everyday there seems to be a new player, idea or partnership that ties back to loyalty. With all of these exciting developments there is plenty going on in the loyalty marketing industry and we look forward to blogging about it in the coming year.
