This summer we had the pleasure of being invited to VARTECH,  one of the largest tradeshows for POS technology in the heart of the US; Cincinnati, Ohio. The tradeshow was hosted by BlueStar with whom we partner to provide better custom technology solutions for our loyalty clients.

BlueStar is an empire among distributors. As part of our trip, we toured their facilities, an organizational masterpiece located in northern Kentucky. Towered high above our heads and as long as a football field were rows of various equipment they maintain. All of this easily categorized by bar-coding printers they sell. Being someone that ships equipment on a weekly basis, I was very impressed by their shipping department. Robot barcode readers placed above a belt surveys all packages being sent and pre-sorts the items per shipping method.

Attending the event was a fun and learning experience for us. We sat in on several workshops that discussed a variety of topics from technology in mobility and wireless activation to PCI compliance standards. In addition to the workshops, BlueStar had several representatives from various manufacturers displaying their latest technologies. We walked away with some great connections, ideas for upcoming projects, and some great memories.

Our new partnership with BlueStar is a great move for Tecmark/IDLoyalty and as a value added reseller we look forward to utilizing the latest technologies in our loyalty business. BlueStar is an incredible company to be partnered with. This company has built itself up as a distributor for a wide variety of vendors.  Our new relationship enables us to deliver new technology to simplify our client’s loyalty programs.
