This year, for the second time, Tecmark had the pleasure of attending a yearly event for BlueStar vendors and customers called VARTECH. The event took place in Miami Beach, Florida at the prestigious Fontaine Bleau Hotel. VARTECH is a conference and trade show featuring POS and mobility solutions for various vendors and resellers. Workshops presented by both BlueStar and representatives from equipment and service providers provide in depth knowledge about how businesses are incorporating new products and technologies. From AT&T to HP to Metrologic, everyone was there.

This year was especially great being in Miami, because it provided the opportunity for the US VARTECH to merge with the Latin America VARTECH. It was a very large international event I was excited to be a part of and gave me the chance to learn about market trends in other parts of the world. Which apparently, mobility in this market is much bigger in Latin America than the US. What are we waiting for?

During the conference, I had a chance to speak with many different presenters and BlueStar reps. I’ll be posting another blog with more details about individual findings and some of my personal favorites. Overall it was a great experience and we thank BlueStar for inviting us again. Not just for the pool party or ocean views, but also all of the great networking opportunities and industry knowledge. Until next time!
