We all know NACS is a leader in the c-store industry. If that's not enough to justify spending some of your budget on the event, consider the many more reasons to attend. Besides having an excuse for a trip to Vegas, here are just 5 reasons the NACS Show is a must-attend event this year.

1. 9,176 buyers attended last year.

This is where they come to look at fuel equipment and services, food equipment and foodservice programs, candy/snacks, facility development and store operations, merchandise and technology. If you're exhibiting, you have a ton of buyers looking for your product! If you are attending, you are among good company and can visit 1,167 exhibitors.

2. Cool New Products Room

View new innovations, products, services and other growth opportunities in the Cool New Products Preview Room. As an attendee, one can capture product details and access exhibitor contact information, as well as print a custom shopping list for venturing in the expo. Here are the room's hours:

Sunday - 10am-5:30pm*

Monday - 8am-11:30am*, 11:30am-5:30pm

Tuesday - 8am-5:30pm

Wednesday - 8am-1:30pm

*Open to retailers, wholesalers and distributors only

3. Women's Networking Forum

On Tuesday, October 13, from 9:05am to 9:55am, women leaders in this male-dominated convenience and fuel retailing industry can network and connect. The session is open to all female retailers who seek professional growth through networking and building relationships. The session is "about education and empowerment to take responsibility for your life, your career and your choices."

4. General Sessions

Starting this year, there will be 4 days of general sessions instead of only 3. Learn from Chris McChesney, Connie Podesta,  and others. This is where you can learn valuable action items to take back to the office.

5. NACS Kick-Off Party

Who doesn't enjoy an open bar and entertainment while they connect with their industry peers? Not only is it a great chance to kick back and have a few drinks, but the kick-off party is an opportunity to network with some valuable contacts. Don't forget your business cards!
