General Mills Convenience & Foodservice conducted a research project entitled "The Lowdown on loyalty Programs in C-Stores". The research project focused on identifying ways that c-store retailers can build programs that resonate with their shoppers. One of the questions asked was: "What makes an effective C-Store Loyalty Program?" Customers' answers were put into three categories: easy sign up, worthwhile for the customer, and fun and engaging for the customer.
