Maintaining a consistent customer stream through the doors of your convenience store requires various marketing techniques and that will build repeat business.

The products you carry should appeal to various types of customers. In a 2012 study conducted by the National Association of Convenience Stores, top categories included gas, candy, gum and soda. One way to build loyalty at your store is to offer coupons or a percent off their favorite items, or special member only promotions such as birthdays or an anniversary. Loyalty programs help build relationships with customers and can turn them into advocates for your brand.
