The Tecmark Employee Spotlight of the Month will continue with National Account Executive, Brian Decker:
q: What is your background within Tecmark?
a: I have been a National Account Executive with Tecmark for 6 months but I have always worked in SaaS (Software as a Service) sales. I enjoy working with any size business to simplify their workload. This lets them focus on more revenue generating activities.
I love my job because I get to interact with Tecmark's customers and prospects. Our business owners are great people. They are passionate about what they do and how they got there. It is more then just a transaction for me. Building relationships is key to a successful career.
q: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
a: I put great emphasis on having work and life. In my free time, I love to spend time with my family. My wife, two children and two pets are my pride and joy.
Growing up in Forest Lake, MN, I gained a great appreciation for sports and the outdoors. I enjoy golf, downhill skiing, and doing work around the yard.
My favorite thing to do in my free time, however, is attending my children's sporting events as a 'Super Fan' of sorts. My son, Kathan, plays baseball at Gustavus Adolphus College. My daughter, Halle, plays lacrosse and soccer for Eastview High School.
q: What are some special talents that you have?
a: I pride myself on being able to light up a room. Life is too short and I try not to take things too seriously.
q: Why Tecmark?
a: The people I work with and what we stand for here at Tecmark mean a lot to me. The product I sell day-to-day is important for business owners to stay competitive.
I greatly appreciate the work/life balance we have here as well. We work hard but also have fun together. There is always room for improvement and advancement because we are always learning.
