8751673604_1e7f5f1c3dIn the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, it can feel like you are easily just another customer in the pack. You go to whatever stores have the best Black Friday deals that year and you shop there only this one day, only this year. There is no reason to return to the store throughout the year, there is no loyalty between a customer and a business. However, this year, several companies are offering sneak peeks or early access to Black Friday sales exclusively for loyalty program members, making it worthwhile for customers to become loyalty members of stores. Once a part of the loyalty program, the customers will recieve incentives to return all year long.

1. Toys 'R' Us offers Rewards 'R' Us Members Black Friday deals before the actual day arrives. You can redeem the offer online by using the code they sent in your email as a member or in-store by using your loyalty card. The deals are redeemable for members starting November 23. Rewards 'R' Us members can also access their promo code for online sales in their online account.

2. Sears is offering its loyalty members early access to Black Friday deals this year. Members of their Shop Your Way loyalty program can access many Black Friday deals online before Thanksgiving. Members can log onto their account online to access these deals. Shop Your Way members get $10 off of $40 on select items using the promo code PREVIEW.

3. Target is still offering REDcard holders 5% off and free shipping during Black Friday on top of all other deals. Although this isn't a special Black Friday deal for their members, it is nice that they are staying with their loyalty offer and it still makes it worthwhile to be a member.

It is smart to bring in customers with low deals but it is even smarter to keep them coming back all year long with a great loyalty program. It may sometimes feel like during the holidays it is unimportant to be a loyalty member of a store. It seems like everyone gets the same great deals on Black Friday. As you can see, it pays to be a loyalty marketing member on Black Friday.

For customers, will you be joining any loyalty programs this holiday season? If you are part of a company, are you offering loyalty members certain incentives during Black Friday?
